History
The history of "Axion-holding" begins in 1930.
The production of medical equipment by the motor plant began in the 70s of the 20th century.
On May 20, 1970 began production of a portable single-channel electrocardiograph "Salyut". "Axion" produced 95% of all Soviet electrocardiographs.
Electrocardiograph of Axion was this device that was tested in two famous expeditions: in 1977-78. in the expedition of Thor Heyerdahl and in the polar expedition of "Komsomolskaya Pravda" (ski crossing to the North Pole).
By the early 1990s, the range of medical products already included cardiographs, defibrillators, neonatal resuscitation complexes, vacuum massagers, and ambulances.
From 1989 to 1997, 103,306 units of electrocardiographs were produced.
At the beginning of the 21st century, the export of medical equipment began. The first countries where electrocardiographs were supplied in 2004 were Kazakhstan and Moldova. After 2 years, deliveries began to Uzbekistan.
Since 1991, the production of defibrillators has also begun, by 2023 78,000 units have been manufactured.
Since 2013, deliveries of defibrillators to distant Indonesia began. In the following years to Egypt and India.
An important event in recent years has been the equipping of Thailand subways with automatic defibrillators.
